WHY A GIRDLE IS SO IMPORTANT IN LOSING FAT! by Gillian Manning, womans editor.

The girdle is the key element to help you with your weight loss plan for 2 reasons:

1. When you have a girdle on, your stomach is controlled, meaning that it is tight and you do not give it the opportunity to expand at ease with everything you eat. This will help you eat less because you will be satisfied with a smaller portion of food than when you do not have the girdle on. That is why the best time to put on your girdle is in the morning, after showering and before you start eating food. If you use it after eating, being full you may feel uncomfortable or sick because of your full stomach

2.The second reason why the girdle is your best ally when losing weight is because it helps you to shape your body as you lose weight. It helps you to shape those parts where you lose fat like your waist, hips or legs. Also the girdle keeps your skin tight to your body which helps you not to become so flaccid.

The girdle will become your partner for the change of your body, you can make use of it during the day while you perform your normal tasks or there are also specific girdles for exercising.

There are girdles that you can use to exercise. They give you support and help you eliminate toxins and fat through sweat like those made from latex.

If you are someone who likes to exercise with weights, we recommend a support waistband that helps protect you from a back injury or a hernia.

WHY I WEAR A GIRDLE EVERY DAY, WHY YOU SHOULD TOO.

7 Reasons you Should Consider Wearing a Girdle

by Gilliane, womans editor.

Girdles make an awesome accessory, worn to support the lower back. People often find it helpful in overcoming the discomfort caused in the lower back due to faulty postures. Besides, you can wear it irrespective of your body size or weight.

If you think you share any such concerns or perhaps are skeptical about the use of a girdle, you must follow the post till the end to find out the events in which you can make use of this accessory.

A girdle is sometimes confused with a corset which is a uni-functional accessory unlike a support girdle. To begin with, let’s see what a corset is and what purpose does it serve.

A corset is an accessory that compresses the body to bring it into a perfect shape. It is worn to achieve a body frame like an hourglass. It comes in a fancy outlook that can even be clubbed with a party dress. The comfort factor is often missing in corsets, unlike girdles.

Let’s proceed to the next segment, where we would be discussing the points, supporting the use of a girdle.

Back-support

How amazing it is to find the health benefits of an accessory that also gives away the luxury of wearing the attire of your dreams. A girdle is meant to lend massive benefits by supporting the back of those who find it to be the vulnerable area of their body. Not only does it help in building the right posture but avoid the injuries that you may receive in course of your normal actions.

Whether you are suffering from scoliosis or facing trouble in other parts of the body due to uneven weight distribution, a girdle is a simple answer for all those concerns that would free you from such issues.

One thing to take note of is that medical recommendations must always come from the doctor’s recommendation as each body needs careful examination before reaching any cure.

Shapewear

Accentuating women’s appearance has always been in the limelight and this is where the first potent reason for wearing a girdle appears.

For ages, the image of a woman where she is seen with a lean waist has been the mark of beauty. Whether it is a Disney princess or any fashion model walking the ramp, a slim waist has always been the standard and is desired by almost every woman.

Girdle is the tool that manifests this desire of a woman by allowing her to tuck the extra flesh within the belt. A girdle is typically the best possible way where you can choose to wear the dresses of your choice without having to be too hard on your body.

It’s almost like killing the two birds with one stone where without being too harsh on your body, you could flatten it to wear the dresses that your heart desires.

Postpartum

Another great use of girdle is to provide sufficient support to the abdominal and back area of the woman’s body in the postpartum period. When it comes to wearing the girdle in the postpartum period, it must come straight from the doctor.

The goal is to give the required support to the back and abdomen so that it can help the body to get back to its normal shape as soon as possible.

Warmth

In winters, a girdle serves an altogether different purpose of shielding you against the chilling winds. Warming girdles are specifically designed to keep you warm apart from serving their primary purpose of bringing back your body into the alignment.

Made from pure wool, the warming girdle can be an excellent choice for an added layer in the winters when being cozy remains on the top of your list.

Posture Correction

Even if you are not indulging in the aggressive form of workout, wearing a girdle would mean putting your body in an aligned posture, distributing the body weight evenly.

Giving firm support to the abdominal and back region of your body, a girdle can give you the feeling of great comfort.

Bad postures can have a serious impact on your shoulders, back, neck, and even knees which can simply be avoided with timely use of a girdle.

Mental Alertness

We rarely realize that postures have a great impact on our mental state. You must have noticed at times that slipping into the saggy body postures would make you feel bored or sleepy.
Paying proper attention to body alignment and maintaining the right posture is not just a matter of appearance but is imperative to keep the mind in a healthy state.

A research study has shown that when a body is in a lazy position, it tricks the mind into believing that the body is suffering which in response, causes the brain to generate pain-inducing hormones in place of happy hormones.

Weight Loss

Even though girdle shares no direct correlation with weight loss, it still can act as great encouragement for you to move firmly and steadily on your weight loss journey.

It helps in tightening the abdominal muscles and causes you to perform regular and consistent work-out, silently working on your posture and alignment.

Conclusion

Backache and faulty postures can be a concern, sipping the life out of your body. The simple solution lies in wearing a girdle that can help you in several other ways apart from healing your back concerns. Also, you must not skip the step of a doctor’s consultation so you can recover from your symptoms much faster than any self-treatment would do.

WOMEN ARE ALL DOWDY, NOT ATTRACTIVE ANYMORE!

Dressed in flat canvas shoes and ski pants, with their bottoms swirling around and the fat bellies too, women appear to look very plain in today’s world wherever you are. Bare legs with varicose veins look sickingly ugly. Tits are all over the place, no longer perked up prettily with brassieres while slim waists are non-existent. Who can blame the fellows for turning gay!

This is all a sad result of the ugly politics of women’s lib. The female figure is looser, flabbier and has an extra layer of fat to the male. That’s why you have shaping garments, pretty girdles and even corsets. That’s why today’s women look dowdy dressed like men!

High heels set off the sexually attractive shape of the female leg while flat shoes look awful. These ubiquitous ski pants hide the leg while nylons show them off to their very best advantage. You’d wonder if some young women bother to wear a panty anymore! They are slovenly with bouncing bums and bellies, while they wonder why men won’t marry them anymore. They’re all like Russian peasant women of the world war, it’s a wonder men bother with them anymore – but they do, for their vaginas and nothing else. Some men can be really bad like that.

HERE’S WHAT A REALLY STYLISH WOMAN USED TO LOOK LIKE:

GERTRUDE WORE A GIRDLE EVERY DAY FOR YEARS AND LOVED IT.

BY FASHION EDITOR GILLIANE MANNING

I spoke with Gertrude about her life in a girdle.

“It was very restrictive, especially around my thighs, and kept my legs in together as I walked. The girdle I remember most was the Playtex 18-hour longline. But it gave me a fabulous figure in the sheath dresses of the time, so I wore it continuously.

“I wriggled into it after first putting on my bra after I got out of bed, mornings. I would let my belly and bottom “go”, I would let them sag as I pulled the girdle up over my hips and thighs so it would take over the job of holding my midriff up for the day. That’s the top secret of comfortably wearing a girdle – let your belly relax completely, let the girdle take over, never go against it.

Once on, I would wiggle and wiggle as best I could to finally feel it to be the most comfortable on me. That wiggling was strictly limited due to all the tightness. Once in, you felt “grabbed” and held in and held up – as my friend Anne said, it was like being in a plaster of paris for the day.

“Then I pulled up my nylons and fastened each stocking to a rear suspender first, making sure the back panel of my girdle was pulled well down over my bottom, in effect holding my nylons up while the nylons held my girdle down. Suspenders were a great invention, I can tell you. There is no better way to this very day of holding up nylon stockings – that I much prefer to tights.

“Also called a “roll on” you felt its deep embrace with every movement. It made you stand up ramrod straight. You couldn’t scratch an itch in there either, all day. Your legs were pulled in together while your girdle was lashed down onto your nylons by the suspenders. It was so awesome a sexy look that even in the privacy of my bedroom I immediately pulled up a large French knickers over my girdle and suspenders to cover it as best I could.

“Then, finally as I stretched out each leg I fastened my front suspenders. Then up came my frilly lace slip that covered everything, I put on a dressing gown, slipped into my heels and went to the mirror, sitting down at the dressing table against the resistance of the girdle, suspenders and nylons to ‘put on my face’ for the day. By now I would feel the girdle supporting my loose flesh all around in a sort of a ‘hug’ – it wasn’t such a bad feeling at all. That came later in the day!

“A woman’s belly can be very soft, like jelly, and that’s how the front panel of a girdle forced against your belly can actually feel good. It’s not all bad, you can get away with eating sweet things too as that front panel pushes the belly in with force and digestion is thus faster!

“One of the biggest reasons for a girdle was our woman bottoms! We’d be very conscious as girls as they fattened and grew. A girdle took care of that without compromise and you would feel better that nobody could see your fat swivelling bottom from behind on the pavement as you walked. And, yes, you could feel the girdles deep embrace with every step you took and in fact I grew to like that! The waistband, that took three inches off my waist immediately, could take longer to get used too. And I remembered that for a year or so after I started out in a girdle my hips would be a little sore – but that all stops and you don’t feel you have hips in there anymore!

“The lower hem of the girdle takes a lot of getting used to as it feels like a rope tied around your thighs – that’s a big reason panty girdles were so liked when they came in, but I stuck to the traditional “OGB”, standing for Open Bottom Girdle with suspenders because I preferred stockings to tights – panty girdles were worn pulled up over ther nylon tights and some such are still worn today.

Gertrude says you have to sit up straight in a girdle – that’s where the word “straitlaced” originated. She tells me a girdle is great for posture. It’s also the only thing for a bad back. The icing on the cake are the nylon stockings attached tautly to the girdle suspenders.

Nylons give great support to the legs, especially to your calves and up under your thighs where they are attached to your back suspenders. They feel lovely around your feet and caressing the ankles too. I myself found that a nylon stocking cleared away a diabetic rash on my leg – after only three weeks constant wear. And like a well-fitted girdle, nylons are most supportive too.

As you can see, there are several styles of girdles – but, unfortunately for the person who wants to enhance their figure, or who simply wants to wear a girdle for the support it’s hard to find them in shops today. This is because of some woke political idea that women shouldn’t wear them or have access to a girdle to buy, anymore. So you have to go online for a girdle and then may not get the exact size you need. This is an intolerable state of affairs!

Elderly ladies who have worn a girdle all their lives are being forced to go without and made feel all loose and untidy in their dress. If you are used to a girdle, you need it and to hell with the stupid politics of the lefties and the libbers!

A girdle is grand to wear for warmth in the depths of our freezing winters. For some women it’s just nice anyway. So, why should we be deprived. Spanx is no substitute for the real thing to a veteran wearer. Anne told me she liked the way it put a spring in her step. She’s 79 today and has been wearing girdles, nylons, brassieres and heels since she was 13. She explained;

“You do get so used to your belly being pushed in flat all the time, to your thighs pulled in together as you walk, to the great support for your lower back, to inches off your waist – but especially to all the fabulous support you get all around as the girdle grabs you and holds you up. You feel good with that lovely hug across your bottom while the nylon stockings are the icing on the cake. Over the years I got used to all that solid support and uplift, so Thank God I have a few girdles left to see me right for the remainder of my days.

“I was only 13 when I was put into a girdle and it took me ages to get used to it at first. But wearing a girdle is an act of dedication. It’s not what the libbers think at all. In fact I felt privileged to wear a girdle, nylons and all the rest – it was our badge of ladyship at the time. And no boy could pinch my bottom anymore! My dad used to call me The Dead End Kid. We all felt very secure in our girdles too, it was our armour…..after a year in a girdle every day, you feel naked, you feel lost without it. You simply have to have nylons supporting your legs too. That’s a way of life for me and many others. We don’t want jeans, slacks or any type of trousers – we want our lovely dresses and our skirts with a good firm foundation underneath. That’s me, that’s all those women like me, that’s the way we want to be.”

“Yes!”, Gilliane agreed, “A dress or a skirt is not the same, it doesn’t even hang properly without a girdle underneath, a woman’s roll on must be sacrosanct and they must be restored to us again! My mother always looked ladylike in a girdle underneath strictly feminine clothes, her mother wore a laced up corset – that’s who we are, respectable ladies in our classic lingerie – not whores with our soft bottoms jiggling in ski pants!

“A girdle massages you as you walk, it stops you from eating and drinking too much – and thus it constantly slims. It becomes comfortable in time, you just have to be dedicated and patient. Yes, it feels like it’s a size too small, maybe even two sizes too small, but you accept and learn to adapt to that once it does its job. While nylons fastened on suspenders feel much more supportive of the legs.

There was no choice about wearing a girdle. You put it on every morning after getting out of bed and it stayed on all day, every day, until bed at night. You never spent a waking hour out of a girdle again. Same for the nylons tightly hooked up to it. As far as you were concerned you were in it for the rest of your life.

And that’s why elderly ladies today feel lost without their girdles. They feel a great emptiness and looseness with their bellies, bottoms and thighs now swinging around uncontrolled after years of voluntary wear and strict confinement that they had actually grown to like over time. They are lost without their girdles today. And though they can still wear nylon tights these are much more difficult to put on than simply doing up suspenders. As Anne remarked to me, ” I still need a bit of control, I liked the the Playtex 18 hour girdle.” Anne was put into a girdle at 13 while her mother and aunts explained to her that this was necessary so she would get used to it all early in life and become a girdled person who would always feel it to be right and proper to be thus confined and content about it too. She went to work in a live-in job in a pub where the strict landlady felt her bottom every morning to make sure she had her girdle on. Mrs. Dowling, the landlady, felt as hard and round as a barrel in her own corsetry, Anne thought. She wore the more serious Twilfit boned and laced girdles.
